This Photoshop CS3 video tutorial is the first in a series demonstrating methods of separating an image from its background. The image is separated via use of a vector path, using the pen tool and the path selection tool to create a selection that matches the edge of the image very closely, whilst retaining a very smooth and crisp edge.
